Bilingual Project Coordinator

Location: ideally Ottawa or virtual - work from home

Mandatory: Must be able to obtain Canadian Government Security Clearance at Secret Level (10+ years in Canada)

Attain is looking for a full-time, bilingual (French/English) Project Coordinator to join our growing team. While the Project Coordinator will report directly to the Operations Manager, he/she will provide support to a number of Project Managers

You have:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Coordinator in one or more of the following industries: Construction, Information Communication and Telecommunications (ICT), Real Estate/Property Management or Government
  • Technical or business degree or diploma advantageousIT, data centre, and network infrastructure
  • Wireless networks
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (bilingualism mandatory)
  • Proficient in MS Office Software, MS Teams, MS Project or equivalent such as Asana

What you will do:

  • Provide Project Coordination and admin support to the Engineering team and other disciplines as well as the client; ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget
  • Schedule regular meetings and record decisions (e.g., assigned tasks and next steps, project minutes)
  • Create, manage and update project info in Attain’s system (Workflow Max) for monthly billing purposes
  • Track costs and expenses and assist with quotes and billing
  • Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders (charts, technical documentation and schedules)
  • Communicate progress to clients and team members
  • Retrieve necessary information, e.g. client requirements
  • Monitor project progress and address potential issues with the project manager
  • Assist with the production of project reports
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Project Management processes and policies
  • Act as a key point of contact for all participants
  • Perform general office duties such as time sheet completion, proposal development, office duties as may be required
