Attain Infrastructure Management (AIM) Program Triples in Size

Commercial landlords, property managers and tenants enjoy hands-off management of telecommunication and other low-voltage infrastructure.

Ottawa, Ontario – August 16, 2010

The Attain Group, a telecommunication consulting and engineering firm headquartered in Ottawa with offices across Canada, has seen its Attain Infrastructure Management (AIM) Program more than triple in size in two years.

The AIM Program oversees more than seven million square feet of commercial real estate – an increase of 141% over 2009 and a CAGR of 16%. 51 properties are currently managed under the program. Ottawa properties comprise 60%, Toronto 30% and Montreal just under 10% of the program’s total portfolio.

Derrick Hanson, President of The Attain Group said: “The impressive growth of the AIM Program since 2008 demonstrates that our service is timely and valuable to building owners and large tenants. In the deregulated telecommunication environment, the installation and management of infrastructure has become very complex. Through the AIM Program, Attain removes the burden of that complexity from building managers.”

He added: “The AIM Program protects building investments and creates new revenue- opportunities for landlords. Tenants also benefit from having their cabling needs satisfied quickly and to a satisfactory level of workmanship.”

The AIM Program is a base building consulting contract. It provides building owners and their tenants with a single point of contact and qualified oversight for all wired and wireless telecommunication infrastructure needs. The program can also provide integrated management of all low-voltage building systems including building automation system, security systems, closed-circuit cameras and multi-media room infrastructures.
